What qualifications do staff hold?
All staff are either qualified to a level three or are working towards a level three. All staff have first aid and basic food hygiene, all staff have regular training such as Child Protection, Birth to Three Matters etc.
Do Parents get feedback from staff / key workers?
Yes!
Feed back via daily report slips, also the parents are free to drop off and collect their child from the room as this will enable parents to talk to their child's key worker on a daily basis.
Is Security Important?
Yes!
We have CCTV cameras on the entrance to the nursery, we also have a radio linked to the hospital security / switchboard.
There are intercoms in each of the rooms, a coded main door. Policies regarding collection of children which includes a pass word.

Do Children play outside?
We have spacious gardens with areas for climbing, sitting, digging, running and using cars and bikes, We are currently a pilot setting for the Foundation Phase , our aim is to take the children outside as much as possible.
Do you have a healthy eating policy?
All meals are prepared at the nursery by our cook, fresh fruit and vegetables are served daily, healthy well balanced meals are prepared,. we cater for all needs, menus are on display at the nursery.
